Game Notes

#18 Razorbacks hang on to beat the Bulldogs 26-21.

Arkansas turns back a late rally by Mississippi State to wrap up the SEC West Division. The Razorbacks use a long drive after the Bulldogs pull within 24-21 in the 4th quarter to use up much of the clock before being stopped on downs inside the 10. However, Steven Conley sacks Derrick Taite in the end zone for a safety, setting back Mississippi State's comeback hopes.

Arkansas recovers from Walt Harris' 37-yard INT return for a TD on the opening offensive play. Barry Lunney Jr. hits Kotto Cotton for a 64-yard TD pass and then Anthony Eubanks for a 29-yarder. The Razorbacks open a 24-14 lead on Madre Hill's 1-yard TD run after a 4th-down penalty extends the drive. Hill rushes for 80 yards and catches 5 passes for 49 yards.
