#14 Trojans rally, escape with a 31-30 win over the Cardinal.

Southern Cal digs out of a 16-0 hole, and then trades leads with Stanford until taking the lead again on Kyle Wachholtz's 8-yard TD pass to Keyshawn Johnson w/ :39 left. Johnson then bats down a desperation pass at the 1 as time expires to preserve the win.

The Trojans had gone ahead 25-24 on Rodney Sermons' 1-yard TD run and 2-point conversion midway through the 4th quarter. However, the Cardinal answered back with a scoring drive capped by Greg Comella's 6-yard TD run w/ 2:57 left.
