Texas gets 2 big fumble recoveries by Tony Brackens in the closing minutes to deny Texas Christian's upset bid. TCU had dodged a bullet, recovering a fumble at the Frogs' 2, but Andre Davis fumbles on the next play and Brackens' recovery sets up Shon Mitchell's 1-yard TD run to extend the Longhorns' 1-point lead with 2:08 to play.

The Frogs drive into Texas territory before Brackens sacks Max Knake, forcing a fumble that he recovers to seal the win. Mitchell rushes for 109 yards and 2 TDs to lead Texas.
