#13 Trojans storm back for a 21-21 tie with the #17 Huskies.

Down 21-0 at the start of the 4th quarter, Southern Cal awakens after Washington dominates the 1st 3 quarters. Brad Otton hits Johnny McWilliams for a 2-yard TD and the extra point ties it w/ :33 left. Otton had hit Terry Barnum with a 16-yard TD pass on the previous possession to draw the Trojans within a score.

Southern Cal appeared out of the contest until Rodney Sermons dives in for a 1-yard TD on the 1st play of the 4th quarter. The Huskies had dominated behind Leon Neal's 152 yards and 2 TDs on the ground. However, Washington failed to capitalize on the dominance getting in the end zone only on Neal's 2 TDs and settling for a pair of FGs and 21-0 lead.
