#1 Gators pull away for a 42-7 win over the Razorbacks.

Florida breaks open a close game in the 2nd half as Arkansas fails to capitalize on a scoring chance early in the 3rd quarter. Trailing 14-7, the Razorbacks return an INT deep into Florida territory, but end up with a missed FG. The Gators then hit high gear and rout Arkansas.

Danny Wuerffel sets the Florida record with 462 yards passing, hitting Reidel Anthony for 3 of his 4 TD passes. Following the missed FG, the Gators strike quickly, going 80 yards in 4 plays with Wuerffel hitting Anthony for a 23-yard TD and 21-7 lead.
