Florida State batters Danny Wuerffel and overtakes Florida atop the polls with its 29th straight win at Doak Campbell Stadium. The Seminoles sack Wuerffel 6 times, force 3 INTs and hit him 21 times to derail the Gators' attack.

Warrick Dunn rushes for 185 yards, catches 4 passes and completes a pass to carry the Florida State attack. The Seminoles jump in front 17-0 before Florida begins clawing back.
