#4 Buckeyes spoil #2 Sun Devils' title dreams late in a 20-17 win.

Joe Germaine caps a 12-play, 65-yard drive in the final two minutes with a 5-yard TD pass to David Boston w/ :19 left to win it. Arizona State had just taken the lead on Jake Plummer's 11-yard scramble for a score and 17-14 lead w/ 1:40 to play.

Ohio State had been on the verge of taking a 7-point lead before Brent Burnstein blocks a FG attempt setting up the go-ahead drive. The lead had shifted throughout as the defenses controlled much of the game, save for big plays. Stanley Jackson started the Buckeyes with a 7-0 lead on a 9-yard TD pass to Boston, only to be answered by Jake Plummer's 25-yard TD pass to Ricky Boyer.

Germaine replaces Jackson and regains the lead for the Buckeyes with a 72-yard TD pass to Dimitrious Stanley in the 3rd quarter.
