UCLA dominates the 3rd quarter, breaking open a 7-7 halftime tie with Oregon. Skip Hicks rushes for 131 yards in the 3rd quarter alone as the Bruins put 24 points on the board to take a commanding lead.

Hicks finishes with 175 yards after managing just 20 yards on 13 carries in the 1st half. Hicks caps off the opening series of the 2nd half with a 2-yard TD run and then later adds a 20-yard TD run to open a 31-7 lead.
