#2 Volunteers pull away for a 35-20 win over the Bruins.

Tennessee has too much Peyton Manning and too much special teams for UCLA to match. Manning throws for 288 yards and 2 TDs and runs for 2 more. The Volunteers get a big kickoff return to set up 1 TD and Terry Fair returns a punt 86 yards for another TD and a 28-13 lead in the 4th quarter.

After the Bruins answer Fair's TD with an 88-yard TD pass from Cade McNown to Danny Farmer, Manning re-affirms Tennessee's control of the game with a 53-yard TD pass to Joey Kent. Kent finishes with 7 catches for 114 yards while Marcus Nash catches 4 for 135 yards.
