#19 Trojans crush the Illini 55-3.

Southern Cal torches Illinois for scoring drives of 95, 96, 97 and 98 yards in the process. After the Illini cap the opening possession with a FG, the Trojans answer back in a big way when Brad Otton hits Chris Miller for an 84-yard TD pass. Miller then follows up his big play by blocking a hunt that Prentice Hill scoops up and returns for a 14-3 lead.

Otton adds a 2nd TD pass to Marvin Powell, Jr. helping Southern Cal open a 24-3 lead at halftime. The Trojans add some style points when backup QB Matt Koffler connects with R. Jay Soward on a school-record 97-yard TD pass in the 4th quarter.
