BYU stares an upset in the face until the final moments when Wyoming lends a helping hand, saving the Cougars 2 timeouts in the final moments, stupidly taking a safety while holding a 25-20 lead, allowing Owen Pochman to send the game into OT with a 20-yard FG on the final play of regulation. Pochman then hits a 32-yard FG in OT after the Cowboys fail with their possession.

Wyoming had taken the lead on Josh Wallwork's TD pass to David Saraf in the 4th quarter and then makes a goal-line stand to preserve a 25-20 lead before falling apart with a series of a bad coaching decisions. Wallwork throws for 282 yards and 2 TDs, but also tosses 3 INTs that result in 13 points.
