Huskies overcome Cougars, win 31-24 in OT.

Brock Huard's 3-yard TD pass to Jerome Pathon puts Washington ahead in OT, and then the defense stops Washington State to preserve the win and capture the Apple Cup. The Huskies had lead 24-0 before a huge rally by the Cougars to force OT.

Washington's ground attack controls the contest for much of the game, allowing the Huskies to stretch out their lead. However, Ryan Leaf runs for 1 TD and tosses another, before Michael Black ties the game with a 10-yard TD run wiith 1:18 left in the 4th quarter.
