#17 Tigers put away the Razorbacks 31-21.

LSU rides a big performance by Kevin Faulk to overcome a stout effort and big plays by Arkansas. Faulk rushes for 138 yards and 2 TDs and adds 85 yards on returns to lead the Tigers.

The Razorbacks stayed close through the 1st half, sandwiching an LSU FG between 80-yard TD passes by Clint Stoerner to Anthony Lucas and Anthony Eubanks on consecutive offensive plays to take a 21-17 lead. However, Faulk's 19-yard TD run before halftime regains the lead for the Tigers and Herb Tyler extends the lead with a 3-yard TD pass to Kendall Cleveland in the 3rd quarter.
