#14 Tigers stun the #1 Gators on the bayou 28-21.

LSU strikes twice in 93 seconds to break a 14-14 tie and go on to the upset of Florida. Cedric Donaldson picks off Doug Johnson and returns it 31 yards for the go-ahead score in the 3rd quarter.

After the Gators fumble the ensuing kickoff Herb Tyler scambles for an 11-yard TD run. Fred Taylor rushes for 89 yards and 3 TDs, pulling Florida within a score on a 3-yard TD run in the 4th quarter. However, LSU seals the win when Raion Hill picks Johnson, the Tigers' 3rd INT.
