LSU avenges a regular season loss as Rondell Mealey dominates the 2nd half as the Tigers erase a 6-3 halftime deficit to Notre Dame. Mealey rushes for 222 yards and 2 TDs, with 177 yards in the 2nd half.

Herb Tyler gives LSU the lead with a 12-yard TD pass to Abram Booty. Mealey breaks the game open with a 78-yard run early in the 4th quarter, setting up his 2-yard TD run for a 20-9 lead. Mealey then adds an insurance TD late.
