Boilermakers pull off a stunning comeback to shock the Spartans 22-21.

Michigan State appears poised to take a 24-10 lead with under 3 minutes to play, but the attempted FG becomes a spark to Purdue's rally when Leo Perez blocks it and Rosevelt Colvin returns it 62 yards for a TD, cutting the lead to 21-16 when the 2-point attempt fails.

The Boilermakers then recover the ensuing onside kick with 2:00 to play, and then Ed Watson converts the chance into a 2-yard TD run w/ :40 left. The Spartans are able to move into position to attempt a 43-yard FG w/ :03 remaining, but the attempt misses badly and the Boilermakers make off with a great escape.
