#1 Wolverines down the #23 Badgers 26-16.

Michigan puts together 2 big scoring drives in the 2nd half and then withstands a rally by Wisconsin to remain unbeaten. After the Badgers draw within 16-10 in the 3rd quarter, the Wolverines run off 19 plays eating up nearly half a quarter before Jay Feely hits a 24-yard FG early in the 4th quarter.

Michigan then follows with a 10-play drive capped by Chris Howard's 4-yard TD run. Howard rushes for 100 yards and catches 4 passes for 38 yards. Meanwhile, Brian Griese throws for 254 yards and 1 TD and catches a 28-yard pass from Charles Woodson.
