Nebraska's offense comes alive in the 3rd quarter, stretching a 10-3 halftime lead to 27-10, but then the Cornhuskers must withstand a furious late rally by Colorado. After the Buffaloes score twice in the final 2 minutes, Nebraska stops a final possession by Colorado to preserve the win.

Scott Frost rushes for 76 yards and throws for 92 yards, while Ahman Green rushes for 202 yards and 2 TDs. John Hessler throws for 352 yards and 3 TDs for the Buffaloes.
