Penn State builds a 30-13 lead and then weathers a frantic rally by Northwestern. An onside kick recovery after Mark Hughes' 9-yard TD pass to Brian Musso w/ :28 left seals the win for the Lions.

Curtis Enis rushes for 153 yards and 1 TD while Anthony Cleary adds 2 TD runs for Penn State. Cleary's 1-yard TD run w/ 5:23 left gives Penn State a 30-13 lead before the Wildcats' rally.
