Mount Union wraps up its 4th championship while Rowan falls for the 4th time in the ultimate contest. The Profs lead 24-16 until the Purple Raiders go on a scoring spree in the 2nd half.

Gary Smeck tosses a 3-yard TD pass to Dave Hassey, and then a 2-point conversion to tie it 24-24. Chuck Moore's 2nd TD run puts Mount Union ahead, and then Ryan Gorius adds a 1-yard TD run and a 14-yard TD reception. Smeck finishes with 307 yards and 3 TD passes.
