A week after being blitzed 42-0, Wake Forest falls behind 14-3 in the 1st half before coming to life against Navy. Brian Kuklick throws for 256 yards and a 19-yard TD pass to Desmond Clark that cuts the deficit to 14-10 just before halftime.

The Demon Deacons' defense manages to put a stop to the option attack after being riddled by Air Force and Navy for 6 quarters, allowing the offense to stage a comeback in the 2nd half. Morgan Kane rushes for 94 yards and puts Wake Forest ahead 16-14 with a 2-yard TD run midway through the 3rd quarter.
