#2 Cornhuskers narrowly escape with 24-17 win over the Cowboys.

Nebraska's 19-game winning streak survives when Mike Rucker stops Nathan Simmons at the 1-yard line as time runs out. Despite playing in front of a partisan crowd at Arrowhead Stadium, Oklahoma State nearly beats the Cornhuskers for the 1st time since 1961, dominating the 1st half before falling behind 17-3 only to answer.

Tony Lindsey's 67-yard TD pass to Ethan Howell ties it 17-17 early in the 4th quarter. However, Joe Walker, who was beaten on the TD pass regains the lead for Nebraska, returning a punt 73 yards for a TD. The Cowboys didn't go away and Lindsey leads them to the Nebraska 1 as time in running out, only to have Rucker penetrate into the backfield and stop Simmons to preserve the win.
