Ole Miss dominates the 2nd half with help from mistake-prone Vanderbilt. The Rebels led 7-6 at the half, but stretch the lead on Deuce McAllister's 2nd TD run. McAllister and Joe Gunn combine to cut through the Commodores for 219 yards rushing, with Gunn leading the way with 146 yards.

Vanderbilt threatens to cut into the lead before Shane Elam steps in front of a swing pass by David Wallace and returns it 87 yards for a TD and 21-6 lead. It was just 1 of 4 picks by Ole Miss, which also held the Commodores to just 84 yards passing.
