Syracuse dominates from the very beginning before Michigan scores 21 points in the 4th quarter to make it look respectable. Donovan McNabb throws for 233 yards and 3 TDs and runs for 62 yards and another TD.

After Kevin Johnson caps the opening drive with a 6-yard TD run, the Orangemen convert an INT into a 26-yard TD pass from McNabb to Rob Konrad. McNabb later scrambles 17 yards for a TD and 24-0 lead in the 2nd quarter.
