#6 Bruins roll again over #23 Longhorns, 49-31.

A year after UCLA's "Rout 66" victory over Texas, when the Bruins won 66-3, they sprinted to a 35-3 halftime lead before coasting home with the victory. Cade McNown throws for 339 yards 3 TDs while Freddie Mitchell tosses a 39-yard TD and catches another for a 79-yard score.

Brian Poli-Dixon catches the TD pass from Mitchell on the end around and then a 20-yarder from McNown in the 2nd quarter to open the 35-3 lead. Ricky Williams carries the Longhorns, rushing for 160 yards to break Earl Campbell's Texas-record for career rushing yardage.
