Michigan State rallies and then wins it on Paul Edinger's 39-yard FG on the final play. Florida had led 34-26 until Bill Burke hits Plaxico Burress with a 30-yard TD pass and then Gari Scott with a 2-point conversion w/ 10:46 left. Burress finishes with 13 catches for 185 yards and 3 TDs.

Burke and Burress combine on a 21-yard TD pass in the 3rd quarter to give the Spartans a 26-21 lead. However, the Gators rally with a 39-yard TD pass from Doug Johnson to Travis Taylor, and then Robert Gillespie recovers his own fumble in the end zone for a TD and 34-26 lead.

Johnson throws for 288 yards and 3 TDs while Taylor catches 11 passes for 156 yards and 3 TDs.
