Arkansas' defense dominates, sacking Texas quarterbacks 8 times, holding the Longhorns to -27 yards rushinbg and allowing just a pair of FGs. Meanwhile, the Razorbacks roll up 191 yards rushing, led by Cedric Cobbs, who runs for 98 yards and 1 TD, with Michael Jenkins adding 82 yards, including a 42-yard TD run.

Defenses dominate the 1st half, but Arkansas makes a statement midway thru the 3rd quarter when a 47-yard pass from Clint Stoerner to Anthony Lucas sparks a 97-yard TD drive capped off by a 30-yard TD pass from Stoerner to Cobbs. After Texas draws within 10-6, the Razorbacks put the game away in the 4th quarter with a 37-yard TD run by Cobbs and then Jenkins' TD.
