Pacific Lutheran Lutes add to Rowan's frustration with a 42-13 win.

The Lutes capture their 1st Div. III title while handing the Profs their 5th loss in the championship game during the 1990s. Rowan had defeated defending champ and usual tormentor Mount Union in the semifinals, however their favorite status faded quickly.

Rowan fumbles on the 1st play of scrimmage and Chad Johnson hits Todd McDevitt with a 31-yard TD pass on the next play. The Profs answer with a score, but the Lutes score the next 28 points.

Anthony Hicks rushes for 73 yards, while catching 4 passes for 78 yards for Pacific Lutheran.
