#14 Bulldogs out last the Wildcats for 49-34 win.

Georgia relies on 2 big stretches to open big leads over Kentucky to overcomes rallies. The Bulldogs strike for 2 quick touchdowns, and extend the lead to 21-0 with a 20-yard TD pass to Terrence Edwards from Quincy Carter early in the 2nd quarter. After the Wildcats rally within 21-13 at the half, Carter hits Brett Millican for an 80-yard TD pass on Georgia's 1st play of the 2nd half sparking a 28-7 run.

Carter finishes with 304 yards and 2 TD passes. Meanwhile, Kentucky's Dusty Bonner throws for 421 yards and 4 TDs. James Whalen catches all 4 TD passes as he hauls in 10 catches for 151 yards.
