Trojans trounce the #25 Bulldogs 45-19.

Southern Cal sprints to a 21-0 lead in the 1st quarter and weathers a 2nd quarter rally by Louisiana Tech before pulling away for the easy win. John Fox hits R. Jay Soward for a 53-yard TD pass and then Chad Morton adds TD runs of 3 and 17 yards to put the Bulldogs on their heels.

Tim Rattay rallies Louisiana Tech, hitting James Jordan for 2 TDs in the 2nd quarter, pulling the Bulldogs within 21-13. Rattay throws for 405 yards and 3 TDs, all to Jordan, but its not enough as Southern Cal scores 24 straight after the 2nd quarter rally.
