Alabama escapes LSU's upset bid by stopping Josh Booty's dive at the 1-yard line and time runs out. The Tigers had drive the length of the field after the Tide's Ryan Pflugner misses a FG that could have sealed the win. However, Booty's roll out and dive for the end zone is stopped by Reggie Myles and company.

LSU had rallied from a 23-7 deficit to threaten the upset. Tyler Watts starts for injured Andrew Zow and throws for 203 yards and 2 TDs to lead Alabama.
