Pirates rally, humiliate #9 Hurricanes with 27-23 upset.

Miami blows a 20-point lead in the 2nd half to an East Carolina team playing in a rival's stadium following Hurricane Floyd. Yet despite the disadvantages and being woefully outmanned talent-wise, the Pirates humble the Hurricanes making them look like their have all the defensive backbone and guts of a marshmallow.

Kenny Kelly turns in a pathetic effort after a 5-of-6 start helps Miami blow through East Carolina. However, the Hurricanes quickly become impotent, opening the door for the Pirates' comeback.
