Time runs out on Notre Dame's desperate last-minute drive after Michigan had scored the go-ahead TD on Anthony Thomas' 1-yard run on the preceding possession. The Irish had gone ahead on Jarius Jackson's TD pass to Jabari Holloway and a 2-point conversion to Bobby Brown.

However, Brown draws a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty during the celebration, and 15-yard penalty for a hit out of bounds helps shorten the distance for the Wolverines' winning drive. Tom Brady throws for 197 yards with David Terrell catching 8 passes for 115 yards.
