UCLA stops Oregon at the 1-yard line on the final play to preserve the win after seeing a 34-10 lead nearly slip away. Cory Paus throws for 332 yards and 2 TDs to lead the Bruins.

Danny Farmer catches 7 passes for 196 yards and 2 TDs. Farmer's 65-yarder from Paus opens a 34-10 lead late in the 3rd quarter. UCLA threatens to stretch the lead when Matt Smith picks off Paus and returns it 81 yards for a TD sparking the Ducks' rally.
