Syracuse rolls to a big lead and then withstands a late rally by Pitt to take the win when 2 passes into the end zone fail in the final 10 seconds. Troy Nunes throws for 112 yards and 3 TDs to lead the Orangemen.

Nunes' 1st TD is via the unplanned route as he turns a bad snap on a FG attempt into a 7-yard TD pass to Kyle Johnson. Nunes then adds 2 TDs the conventionally way with a pair of passes to Stephen Brominski.
