Oregon prevails in a crazy contest when Josh Frankel, its 3rd kicker, hits a 27-yard FG to win it. Southern Cal, which equals a conference record with 21 penalties, misses a PAT and a 30-yard FG in the final 3 minutes of regulation.

The Ducks forced OT on Nathan Villegas' 26-yard FG with :30 left in regulation, but he injures his knee while celebrating. The two teams trade missed FGs in the 1st OT, and TDs in the 2nd OT. A.J. Feeley leads Oregon with 275 yards passing and 3 TDs, while the Trojans lose starting QB Carson Palmer to a shoulder injury late in the 1st half.
