Mater Dei Monarchs beat Servite 28-22 in OT.

After stopping the Friars on their possession to start OT, the Monarchs win when Ahmed Mokhtar (Oregon State/USC) breaks free for a 16-yard TD run. Mokhtar finishes with 151 yards. Mater Dei forces OT when sophomore Matt Barkley (USC) connects on his 3rd TD pass of the night and then converts a 2-point conversion. Barkley's 3-yard TD pass to Blake Arthur cuts it to 22-20, then his connection with junior Robbie Boyer (USC) ties it.

Earlier Barkley connects on a pair of deep passes, a 40-yard TD connection with Ryan Mumma, and then a 40-yarder to junior Andrew Abbott (UCLA). Barkley finishes 9-of-14 for 130 yards.

Servite had taken a 15-14 lead after RB/LB Chris Galippo (USC) gets in for a 2-point conversion. Daniel Klein's TD run extends the lead to 22-14.
