DelaSalle Spartans jump on Mission Viejo to exact some revenge with a 35-21 win.

DelaSalle avenges a pair of losses to the Diablos by jumping out to a 14-0 lead and then leaving Mission Viejo in trailing mode. Tim Maupin rushes for 206 yards and 2 TDs, while Tillman Pugh adds 130 yards and 3 TDs.

Junior LB Brady Amack (Air Force) leads the defense with 13 tackles. DelaSalle also includes LB/TE Albert Rosette (Nevada), WR/DB John Hendershott (Utah State), junior K/WR Michael Czyz.

After Mission Viejo pulls to within 21-14 at halftime, Pugh extends the lead with a 29-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter, and then a 43-yarder in the 4th quarter for a 35-14 edge.

Junior WR Warren Reuland (Stanford) has a pair of TD catches for the Diablos, while RB Brian Lockridge (Colorado) adds a 38-yard TD run. Sophomore QB Allen Bridgford (Cal) enters and tosses a pair of TD passes in reserve.
