St. Xavier Bombers put away DeMatha 28-7.

Despite playing without star RB Darius Ashley (Louisville), the Bombers get 141 yards rushing from the reserves to beat the Stags who are shutdown by the St. Xavier defense. John Hurley's 23-yard TD pass to WR Danny Milligan (Cincinnati) gets the Bombers in front early. The Stags answer with a 6-yard TD run by Ashby Christian.

But DeMatha is unable to break loose star WRs Kenny Tate (Maryland) and Rodney McLeod (Virginia) and stagnate on offense. St. Xavier goes up for good on a TD pass from Hurley to Patrick Kelly. Milligan adds a 2nd TD catch.
