Sophomore Tyler Shreve (Utah) hits Trey Farquhar with a 6-yard TD pass in the final minute to lift the Wildcats over the Huskies. Spencer Wells then picks off Jamar Calhoun on the final play to preserve the win.

Shreve goes 11-of-16 for 165 yards and 2 TDs in his 1st start. The J.W. North defense slows Chris Polk (Washington) holding him to 68 yards on 17 carries.

East Valley includes DT Quentin Toailoa (Nebraska), LB Josh Scott (UTEP), junior WR/DB Gary Walker (Idaho), sophomore OT David Peterson (San Jose State), sophomore DE Andrew Hudson (Washington).
