Game Notes

Orange Lutheran Lancers are too much for Edison in a 30-20 win for the Pac-5 Championship.

Aaron Corp (USC/Richmond) throws for 172 yards and 2 TDs and runs for 2 TDs to lead the Lancers on offense, while DE Michael Reardon (USC) dominates with Edison missing standout OT/DT Martin Coleman (USC) due to an injury. The Lancers hold the Chargers to minus-7 yards rushing while constantly sacking and pounding junior Nick Crissman (UCLA). Crissman throws for 297 yards and 3 TDs, but also ends up being sacked 6 times while taking a physical beating. Reardon leads with 2 1/2 sacks.

Corp helps Orange Lutheran jump into command early, scoring on runs of 3 and 7 yards in the 1st quarter. After a safety early in the 3rd quarter, Corp connects with Austin Pettis (Boise State) for a 7-yard TD pass and 23-0 lead. Crissman gets Edison on the board, but then Corp responds with a 50-yard TD pass to junior TE Blake Ayles (USC).

The Chargers are able to pull within 30-20 when Crissman connects with WR/DB Dominique Vinson (Boise State) for a 13-yard TD pass and then WR/LB Hunter White (Boise State) for a 25-yard TD pass.

Orange Lutheran includes junior LB/RB Ricky Pemasa (Fresno State).
