Douglas County Huskies hang on for a 12-10 win and revenge against Mountain Vista.

After the Eagles snapped the 20-game win streak of the Huskies during the regular season, Douglas County reverses the outcome to advance to the state semifinals on the strength of 2 TD passes by Keifer Garton (Penn). Garton's 18-yard TD pass to Jeff Stevens in the 4th quarter opens a 12-3 lead. Garton throws for 204 yards. Junior Ryan Misare (Air Force) rushes for 93 yards.

Danny Beck's 42-yard TD pass to Matt Tuten closes the gap to 12-10 w/ 6:49 left, but the Eagles' final rally attempt falls short.
