Glades Central Raiders have too many weapons for Pine Forest, capturing the state title with a 39-27 win.

The Raiders rally in the 4th quarter to beat the Eagles late. Receiver Deonte Thompson (Florida) scores on a 23-yard run, and then QB Bryan Mann (FIU) extends the lead with a 28-yard TD run. Mann had tied the game 24-24 in the 3rd quarter with a 3-yard TD run before Pine Forest regains the lead with a FG.

Mann hits 10-of-26 for 207 yards and 2 TDs and runs for 75 yards and 2 TDs. Mann connects with junior Travis Benjamin (Miami) for a 64-yard TD pass and 10-7 lead in the 1st quarter, and then later hooks up with Thompson for a 44-yard TD pass. Benjamin catches 4 passes for 107 yards.

Pine Forest does most of its damage with 2 players, QB C.J. Dancy, who rushes for 108 yards and 2 TDs, and RB/LB Alfred Morris (FAU), who adds 99 yards, including a 65-yard TD run.

Pine Forest includes junior LB Jesse Broadnax (SW Louisiana).
