Chase Wasson (SW Texas State) throws for 490 yards and 5 TDs to lead the Dragons past the Rangers. Wasson breaks the Texas state record with his 54th TD pass of the season. Wasson connects with TE Scott Chandler (Iowa) 6 times for 163 yards and 2 TDs, and Andrew Hansen six more times for 123 yards and 2 TDs.

Wasson puts Southlake-Carroll ahead for good with a 29-yard TD pass to Tre Sellari late in the 1st quarter, and then adds a 15-yard TD pass to Hansen and a 42-yarder to Chandler for a 24-7 lead at the half.
