Blake Gideon (Texas) puts Leander ahead of the Panthers 37-30 with a 78-yard TD run late in the 4th quarter and then the Lions hang on as a PAT attempt hurts Pflugerville for the 2nd time in the 4th quarter. Greg Nwoko (Arizona) rushes for 113 yards and 3 TDs and pulls the Panthers within 1 with an 8-yard TD run w/ :46 to play, but Pflugerville misses the PAT.

Earlier, RB/DB Xavier Gooden (Missouri) scored on a 5-yard TD run, putting the Panthers ahead 30-28, but the PAT was blocked and returned for 2 points to tie the game 30-30. Gooden rushes for 78 yards.
