Kody Spano (Nebraska) scores on a 1-yard TD run in the final minutes puts Stephenville ahead for good after erasing a 28-17 deficit. Spano hits 12-of-21 for 198 yards and 1 TD and runs for 40 yards and 1 TD.

The Bearcats' Cole Loftin (SMU) had put Aledo ahead 28-17 with a 15-yard TD run on 4th down late in the 3rd quarter. Loftin throws for 242 yards. However, Spano's 77-yard TD pass to Trey Taylor sparks the Yellow Jackets' rally.
