The Pioneers finally prevail for their 8th state title after Joe Glendening (Hillsdale) scores on a 3-yard TD run, his 4th of the game, and then the defense stops the Eaglets to secure the win. Glendening finishes with 175 yards rushing, topping St. Mary's Dominique White (Eastern Michigan), who finishes with 158 yards and 3 TDs.
