Brandon Key leads Marine City to a 21-7 win over Country Day.

Key (Cincinnati) is the brightest star, running for 1 TD and throwing for 2 to lead the Mariners to the championship. Key goes 9-of-14 for 145 yards. Key gives Marine City a lead with a 1-yard TD run in the 1st quarter, and then extends it to 14-0 in the 3rd quarter with a 33-yard TD pass to Chad Allemon. He adds a 4-yarder in the 4th quarter to clinch the win.

Key is able to overshadow the Yellow Jackets' Jonas Gray (Notre Dame). Gray, one of the top RB recruits in the nation, rushes for 144 yards and 1 TD.

Country Day includes LB Kenny Demons (Michigan), OT Tommy Laymon (Cornell), junior WR Bennie Fowler (Michigan State), junior DB Mose Hogan (Georgetown).
