Game Notes

Lewis & Clark Tigers rally to beat Bothell 21-14.

The Cougars are denied a title for the 2nd straight year, as the Tigers capture their 1st state title while advancing past the 1st round of the playoffs for the 1st time since 1978. Following a turnover in scoring territory, Lewis & Clark strikes for the winning TD when Taylor Eglet hits Jordan Hanson behind the Bothell secondary for a 51-yard TD with a minute left.

The Cougars had taken a 14-7 lead in the 4th quarter despite the Tigers controlling much of the game. But Lewis & Clark responds with a 71-yard drive capped by RB/LB Alex Shaw (Montana) breaking tackles for a 10-yard TD. Shaw rushes for 176 yards.

Lewis & Clark includes DE Chris Mastin (Washington State).
