Cleveland overcomes an ice-cold start that sees the Cavs fall behind 21-6, and finally ties it at 94-94 on a basket by Foots Walker that caps a 13-0 run in the 4th quarter. However, Tom Henderson and Elvin Hayes step up to stem the comeback.

Henderson sandwiches a critical block shot by Hayes between 2 driving baskets to regain control of the game at 98-94. Henderson finishes with 31 points and Hayes adds 23 while playing a criticial defensive role in the closing minutes while playing much of the game in foul trouble.
